Extreme Body Magick

Most mages are always more fascinated with the external occurrences made possible by magick and I am as well but I am also extremely fascinated w/ the internal changes magick can afford for us to allow.
Right now, I’m not talking about the ability to become shape shifting werewolves but to be able to control your own body right down to its’ very cells (well to control your very cells might be the extreme case, for now, but I like to dream big).
However, instances of extreme bodily magick are nothing new, cases of individuals performing feats of mind over matter has been well documented, psychic phenomena have littered the scientific fields as well, incidents where after a severe brain trauma occurs to someone – afterwards, they might have a skill they didn’t possess before, martial artist being able to harden or strengthen their body parts, etc etc.
If you think about it, our body is made of cells and electrical impulses. Eventually, one will be able to develop the faculties to override and gain more control.
For a magickian, the most basic of this type of magick is healing magick – I believe that healing magick follows the rules of biology more so than we think but how we interact with it is primitive…..Like, the interface needs to be more updated, more detailed.
I don’t want to go into detail with this because this is all theory, and you want to be educated once you start messing around with your body and try to override certain bits. The body is a system that has its’ security measures so that it doesn’t break down – applying magick onto certain things is essentially hacking into the system, which can lead to danger if said person does not know what he is doing.
Even a doctor, who has studied this field for many years, can be prone to make mistake. A guy who googled an answer is more likely to make a mistake.

Don’t Worry, Be Happy

I’m guilty of this myself so with the help of the collective I am working with – we’ve created a simple happiness sigil (live and charged) ready to be spread around – use it on yourself if you want but the idea is that you charge it (think happy thoughts, lol) and spread and share it with everyone else – how you go about it is your business.

Chaos Magick: A POV
Posted: December 31, 2012 Filed under: chaote | Tags: beyond chaos magick, chaos magic, esoteric, magick, occult, post chaos magick Leave a comment »A friend of mine recently asked me how I used “reality as a symbol set model in my chaote practice”, he also had some questions that went off tangent later on but this one was the question that set the cogs in motion since I ended up going through some of the posts I had in my ChM page, house cleaning I suppose, and I ended up on one of the comments basically asking what’s the difference between a “chaos” magickian and an “eclectic” magickian.
To me, there is no difference between a chaote and an eclectic, or a sorcerer for that matter. They’re just labels that are pretty interchangeable since all try to achieve the same goals; to create a custom system of magick that is personalized to the practitioners model.
I might’ve gotten into chaos magick late in the game but one of the main draws I had to it was the ability to be able to choose any technique, as long as it works and you are getting results with it, no need to pledge yourself to a system or tradition. It wasn’t about initiating into a tradition or learning some secret words, it was about reverse engineering a technique and finding what makes it tick and if you like it, use it and keep it.
To keep this brief, I think Chaos Magick is not about the techniques that comes with it by default but a philosophy, a way to look at magick differently, a means to obtain and achieve tangible results, a set of principles that should aide the practitioner into becoming the person they want to be, an avenue to push forward – evolve the way we look and think about magick.
But in the end, it’s just a label, a label that will give you the means to achieve your desires and live your life to the fullest.
