I wrote about how the collective I work with planned on doing a magickal charity of sorts by giving back to the community and the people in general by spreading some happiness around via sigil magick – how we implement it is up to each person.
I decided on 2 ideas which centers around the old neo-chaote idea of magickal glitterbombing, except in a much wider sort of area effect type spellcasting. I got the idea of the area effect spell from a Penzcak book but instead of using it for protection, I modified it for happiness.
The idea is to cast a wide effect happiness spell that covers 2 major blocks of where I live, I’m pretty much smack in the middle of this area. I pretty much printed the picture about, charged it, and released it to the aether. That covers the macro aspect of this spellwork. I didn’t devote too much time charging since the each practitioner taking part on this project is charging already and this sigil shares and manages the energy it receives from all of us.
For micro enchantment, I decided to go old school and spread physical links all over the neighborhood.
Burnt ashes from charged sigils being released in the air, drawing the sigil on my hand and making sure to physically shake or touch as much people as possible,
and my favorite inspired pieces which I just decided out of the blue and was drawn to doing it spontaneously.
Did this in the bus shelters on the middle of the winter storm. If there was a day that needed some happiness being spread around, this was the day.
I really enjoyed this project, I felt this was somewhat a much better way of doing charity. I don’t mind giving money to charity but sometimes, it doesn’t feel as heavy as when you actually get your hands dirty.

Reblogged this on The Order of the Hollow Ones.
You decided to shake as many people as possible? Do you mean shake hands? I have this great image of you running up to people grabbing their shoulders and shaking them while trying to pump happiness into them. Also, looking at the map, my first thought it “Hey, you’re near three of the cemeteries I do work in.”
yup, shake hands or a buddy tap. no, i’m not pulling a TomCruise on peep, lol.
yonge and john has a nice small cemetery that’s pretty secluded. i keep trying to spot ghosts whenever i drive by one, which is pretty dangerous, ‘cuz i’m driving.
Doing it that way you’ll join them soon enough heh.
I don’t know that cemetery, but I’m marking the area on my list. Come spring I have a ritual I have to perform in 108 different cemeteries, so I’m trying to compile a list of all the ones in the city.
good luck, i don’t know if google maps will have them all.
